Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 450° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or rub with oil.

  2. 2. On the sheet pan, mix the chicken, garlic powder, pepper, and chile flakes. Add the flour and toss again. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil, tossing to coat. Arrange the chicken to one side of the baking sheet. Add the broccoli/asparagus to the other side. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

  3. 3. Meanwhile, make the sauce. In a bowl or glass jar, combine all ingredients.

  4. 4. Remove the vegetables from the sheet pan. Then pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and toss the chicken up in the sauce. Bake for another 5 minutes, until the sauce is baked onto the chicken.

  5. 5. Serve the chicken, vegetables, and honey garlic sauce with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. I love this over rice, but it's also great as an appetizer too!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.

  2. Season chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown on one side, 3 to 5 minutes.

  4. Flip chicken and add onion and garlic; continue to cook until chicken is mostly (but not fully) cooked and onion and garlic are soft, 5 to 7 minutes more. Remove chicken to a plate.

  5. Add honey, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder to the skillet. Stir and scrape the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to get garlic and onion to mix with the liquid.

  6. Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and reduce heat to medium. Cook until no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, about 10 more minutes, turning once halfway through. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a thigh should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

  7. Arrange chicken on a serving plate and drizzle liquid from the pan on top. Sprinkle with cilantro to serve.

  8. Enjoy!
