  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups shredded zucchini
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together in a medium bowl.
  4. Add oil and eggs; mix well until just combined.
  5. Fold in shredded zucchini and walnuts until just combined.
  6. Pour cake batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50 to 60 minutes.
  8. Cool cake completely before frosting with your favorite frosting.
