  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked deep-dish pie crust

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Mix white sugar, brown sugar, and butter together in a bowl.
  3. Stir in corn syrup, eggs, and bourbon, then fold in pecans.
  4. Pour mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue to bake until the center is set but slightly jiggly, 25 to 30 minutes more.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. Pie will set as it cools.
